Black Sheep

Here's the sheep I bought during my birthday shopping trip last weekend.

Here's the white one...

And the black one - modelling the first of Jonah's socks. It's made from Regia Mini Ringel. I think I ripped it out and restated it four times.. I put some tissue paper in it to make it stand up a little. I'll have to get a picture of Jonah wearing them soon.

And here are all my yarntainers : )

So Jonah's sock is pretty much done again (someone may or may not have ripped it out and knit it again 3 or 4 times) I'm not sure where to stop the ribbing on the foot - once I start doing decreases it may start to look wonky.
I also bought 4 skeins of cotton fleece in burgandy to knit a short sleeve sweater which would probably be a lot more comfortable than the really hot 100% wool sweater I am wearing right now - (hourglass sweater in lapis blue) maybe not the best choice of items to wear to work - it was 46 degrees this morning when I left for work usually it would be about 47 in our office but apparently they actually turned the heat on and so now I am sweating.
Hopefully I'll have pictures of my recent purchases to post tomorrow and maybe Jonah's sock take 4.

Jonah's Sock

Here's some pictures of the sock I am making for Jonah - I'm done up to the heel flap.

Here's the view of the bottom of the sock... blogger apparently has something against me also downloading the view from the other side so here's just one view ; (

Ruffles Scarf

Here's how long it is so far... okay so you can't really tell because I wound it up to look like a flower - I'm on about row 980 or 245 of the 4 row repeat pattern.

I also took a picture of the hate I made for Noah - it's currently being worn by a ball of yarn.

Another Friday

I think this has quite possibly been the longest week of all times... no newFOs... well none that I actually took pictures of. I finished a hat for Noah (due in October) and worked on the ruffles scart - I'm on row 620. I used worsted weight and size 8 needles... instead of DK and size 6. seemed like less work. Hopefully I'll have a picture of both things monday.

Okay so I finally charged the batteries in my camera and here are the latest pictures.

Here is a pair of mittens finally... The left mitten was finished like in May and the right mitten was finished on Tuesday.

And here's the yarn swift... holds between 1-2 yard hanks.

And finally I started a spiral scarf when I was at home sick yesterday.

2 Finished Objects

Here's Jonah's pillow finally finished! The sewing together may have taken me a few months.... oops.
This is the project I taught myself intarsia with, I drew the pattern myself as well.
I'm glad it's finally done so I can stop
feeling guilty.

Here's the scarf I made for Beth for her 40th birthday party tonight. It's made from Moda-Dea Ricochet.

Gas Humor

Another reason to have your own sheep.
