Hourglass Sweater Day 2

Hourglass Sweater

Hourglass Sweater

I started my hourglass sweater yesterday! I however only did the cast on round... I'll take a picture tonight after I do a few more rows! I also bought way too many skeins of yarn at Joann during their clearance sale...oops... I think my living room looks even more like a yarn explosion that ever.

Bad Blogger

I haven't posted at all this week... I did have "surgery" yesterday and have stitches in my back so that's an excuse for one day at least : )
I haven't made much progress on any of my knitting projects...
I really want to make a striped tank top but need practice on the increases as mine look like crap and are gaping holes...and I don't really know how to make my own pattern.

Going to the Dr.

I hereby resolve to stop going to the Dr. everytime I go they weigh me and I've gained 10 lbs... last time I also was told I was an inch and a half shorter than I am, at that rate I'll weight 2000lbs and be 4 inches tall before I'm 30... scary.

Letter from DelMonte

Okay so some people (me) complain to companies when things irritate them and then when we get replies like this we wonder why we don't concentrate on bigger problems since this seems frivolous... oh well.

Thanks for visiting our Del Monte website and for your email. We're sorry to hear that the pull-top end on our metal cans of Mixed Fruit haven't been opening properly--especially when you're at work. From your description, it certainly sounds as though the lid isn't working the way it was designed to, and we will notify our can supplier about your experience. In the meantime, you may be interested to know that Del Monte fruit cups are also available in 4 oz. plastic cups with a plastic seal. Additionally, many of our cans may be easily opened from the bottom with either a manual or electric can opener. We apologize for any inconvenience our packaging may have caused. In appreciation of your business, we are sending several Del Monte coupons to you via postal mail.
