how does time go by so quickly

Okay so time goes by so quickly between posts! I finally finished my pair of hippo socks. I got quite a bit done last weekend in WI. I visited the Door County Shepherds market and didn't buy 2 much 2 skeins of some naturally colored shetland alpaca blend that I plan on using for some fairisle

Baby Socks

I used the sample sock I made for my sock knitting class and made another one to make socks for Trella. I hope she likes them, they are made of leftover yarn from the baby blanket that our knitting group made for Melissa.
I've still been working on my Hippo socks the second one is to the heel turning - and I've only knit the 10 rows of the cuff of aquaphobia.

One for the frogpond

So I decided that I wasn't ever going to like Sitcom Chic and today when Melissa, Jeff and Alice (Melissa's mom) stopped by to pick up her completed baby blanket we ripped it out. Well Alice and I did Melissa was working on her Aquaphobia socks. So know the cotton ease is sitting piled on my couch. I just decided the shape of the sweater just wasn't going to work the way I wanted it too. Sitting next to it is a skein of Lorna's Laces Vera which is for my Aquaphobia socks that I am starting on Tuesday.
