socks and tires

So this weekend I worked on my sock quite a bit - I am ready to start the heel flap tonight.

I think it looks a lot more pink in the picture than it actually it. I ended up working 3 1/2 inches of k2p2 ribbing even though I didn't want to I tried the socks on and they fit snuggly.

I also got to buy 4 new tires this weekend because one of them had a bubble in it the size of a softball and was on the verge of explosions - apparently this is unsafe : ) so even though I'm getting a new car soon my old car had nice new tires on it.

I did work about 4 more rows on the Clapotis but it looks just about the same.
