My first Sock
Here are the 1st 3 rows of my sock.
It's Regia Mini Ringel in Rio. The pattern I have says to do the first 24 rows in ribbing which seems like a lot the picture looks like maybe just the first 1/2 inch or so is ribbed.
Any suggestions?

One my socks I usually do an inch and a half in rib right at the top (I usually knit toe-up). Depends what you'd prefer, the ribbing is there to help it stay up. The last pair I finished had 2x2 rib all the way down, they stay up really well. It will obscure the pattern a bit though. Hope this helps!
