I was in a meeting yesterday and told a short story about an article that someone brought to my knitting group that was relevant to the discussion. The manager I was talking to stopped talking and stared at my blankly and said knitting like with two needles and then after I said yes mumbled knitting under his breath two or three times before carrying on with the discussion.

Oh come on Kelly, he could have been talking about knitting with four-needles for a sock or something. :) I'm so amazed that people look at you like you have a third head when you mention knitting, which they think went out with the dinosaurs. Oh goodness, people actually make their own clothes with yarn and needles? Wow!
